Admissions Representative - Emergency Department

Brookings Health System is seeking an Emergency Department Admissions Representative to join our team! Compensation range for this position is $16.00 to $23.69, depending on experience. This position is responsible for welcoming patients and completing initial admission in a timely and courteous manner, receiving payment on accounts, answering patient questions, monitoring patient flow and keeping patients informed of wait time. The individual needs to use good judgment for maintaining confidentiality and problem solving. In this role, you will also be responsible for taking over the main switchboard activity during evenings and weekends.
