We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients while supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians with daily tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Experience is not required we offer on the job training
- Must also be able to work some weekends (we do offer boarding for our clients)
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, exam rooms, and treatment areas
- Feed, water, and walk dogs; clean litter boxes and enclosures
- Monitor animals for signs of illness, stress, or injury and report concerns to staff
- Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians as needed
- Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely
- Launder bedding and maintain clinic cleanliness
- Care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and other small/exotic pets (as applicable)
- Follow all clinic safety, sanitation, and animal care protocols
