TITLE: Custodial Staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MS Driver’s License
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board my find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Principal (primary)
Director of Maintenance (secondary)
JOB GOALS: To keep the grounds and facilities clean and safe in accordance with the expectations of Supervisor.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans classrooms, offices, lounges, bathrooms, and storage rooms with broom, mop, or vacuum.
- Mops spots caused by spills.
- Cleans restrooms by water mopping the floors and washing lavatories, commodes, etc.
- Dusts furniture in offices, conference rooms, and lounges.
- Empties waste paper cans into the trash cart.
- Distributes paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, etc. to restrooms.
- Carries out other cleaning duties as assigned by the Principal.
- Cleans windowsills and blinds in all offices.
- Performs any other duties as outlined by the Supervisor related to Maintenance Dept.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established
by the School Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Staff.
