Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Hospice Aide role located in the Greater Boston area. The Hospice Aide will provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include supporting personal care routines, ensuring the comfort and dignity of patients, and assisting with basic home care tasks as needed. The role requires compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with Home Care and assisting with Activities of Daily Living
- Strong Communication skills to interact with patients, families, and team members
- Knowledge and experience in Patient Care and Personal Care
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to provide compassionate care
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety practices
- Reliable transportation for traveling to and from patient locations, knowledge of Aromatherapy and Music therapy
