Organization Overview

Modal Power is a Solar IPP which owns a ~2.3GW portfolio of fifteen operating projects, four under-construction projects, and three pre-NTP assets.

About the Role

Modal Power is recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance & Treasury. The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic global team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury, the role is part of a collaborative team of professionals focused on corporate finance and treasury activities for Modal Power. The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the team responsible for day-to-day treasury activities and capital planning initiatives.

The individual will collaborate closely with key finance team members and other teams and stakeholders.

 Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily cash positioning and fund flow activity across the business.
• Own the weekly liquidity forecast distributed company-wide, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to build a clear, reliable view of the company's cash position.
• Contribute to capital planning across the portfolio, including forecasting funding needs, monitoring debt capacity, and evaluating how the business funds its growth.
• Support FP&A on various initiatives, including annual business planning and Board meeting materials.
• Support the execution of financing transactions, working alongside the Capital Markets team.
• Maintain the master schedules of accounts, treasury instruments, and obligations that underpin the company's financing framework.
• Contribute to the broader day-to-day treasury function, including account administration, counterparty and intercompany flows, letters of credit, and treasury reporting.

Knowledge and Experience Required

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 4 years of related work experience.
• Experience in corporate finance and treasury, ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, or power.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
• Solid analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to meet multiple objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
• Familiarity with tax equity and debt structures is an asset.
• Experience with treasury management systems (e.g. Kyriba) is an asset.
