Job Description

PRN (as needed) Caregiver, this position does not have a set schedule or guaranteed hours. It will be on an as needed basis.

Requires two office days for Brookdale Foundations prior to clinical orientation.

Must have experience in elderly care.

Must pass a criminal background check.

Will provide on the job training to become a Med Tech, if you have a current valid (less than one year old) Med Tech certificate please apply for the Med Tech position posted on Indeed.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs, as well as help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
