Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive analyses of compensation data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Designs, develops, implements, and administers compensation programs, including short and long term incentive plans.
- Serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on compensation policies and practices.
- Works with Finance in the design and administration of incentive plans, including the complex financial analysis needed for the calculation and processing of bonus payments.
- Administers the Company’s long term incentive plan, including analysis, communication to participants, and working with third party vendor.
- Participates in market salary surveys and maintains market pricing software system.
- Analyzes new and existing positions based on duties and responsibilities to determine appropriate job level, classification, and incentive eligibility based on market data and company programs.
- Creates and delivers effective communication and training of the Brookdale’s compensation programs and practices to HR partners, leaders, and associates.
- Gathers, analyzes and provides reports to leaders regarding incentive payments, pay increases, long-term incentives, and other compensation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and 3 to 5 years in compensation analysis or a related field preferred, preferably in a corporate environment.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. Expert Microsoft Excel user required.
Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Possesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel and Word. Ability to manage large data sets from various sources. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and associates at all levels of the organization. Detail orientated, excellent analytical skills, and able to work effectively with multiple priorities and deadlines.
