Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities
- Performs healthcare application configuration and implementation of new enhancements and requested changes to support the unique requirements of individual senior living communities.
- Participates in application review, testing, and training related to healthcare application releases, updates, and enhancements.
- Facilitates communications regarding changes and enhancements related to healthcare technology applications. Serves as the primary contact for healthcare application training and support for the assigned division.
- Develops and implements educational materials for healthcare applications and technology. Facilitates clinical team training initiatives to help interpret healthcare reporting, promote utilization, documentation, compliance, and best practice for optimal use.
- Participates in the development, training, utilization, and interpretation of healthcare reporting and analytical tools.
- Implements and supports the utilization of pharmacy services and their integration with eHR systems.
- Assists the End User Services team in investigating and troubleshooting healthcare application and technology issues.
- Escalates cases for healthcare application support when required and serves as an advocate and liaison for case resolution.
- Reviews and approves user access requests for healthcare applications, ensuring organizational security criteria and practices are appropriately applied.
- Participates in application user reaccreditation audits as assigned.
- Serves as the clinical subject matter expert for eHR application issues requiring knowledge of nursing workflow, processes, and practices.
- Performs or reviews clinical configuration items that require nursing oversight (i.e., adding medications to the custom medication library).
- Completes special projects and assignments as requested.
Qualifications
Nursing degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum of three years of related experience in the healthcare field is required (inpatient, outpatient, and/or long-term care). Strong customer relationship and training skills may be considered in lieu of actual healthcare experience.
Additional years of relevant experience can be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Current State RN or LPN License.
Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make decisions within Clinical Services. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness, or a combination of these.
Possesses extensive knowledge of healthcare applications and technology. Has a thorough understanding of the organization and senior living clinical services work environment. Has a working knowledge of community-level clinical services workflows. Possesses the ability to effectively communicate and convey knowledge with associates at varying levels of technical aptitude. Possesses superior customer relationship skills, critical thinking, ability to analyze complex data, and organizational skills. Remains up to date on all system applications and Brookdale processes and procedures.
