Role Description
This is an on-site, PRN role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Bloomington, IN. The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents, monitoring their health, administering medications, documenting medical records, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities also include assisting with daily living activities as needed, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification and current state licensure
- Experience in administering medications
- Skilled in monitoring patient health and documenting medical records accurately
- Ability to assist with daily living activities and provide personal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with other healthcare professionals
- Prior experience in a senior living or Assisted living communities is a plus
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required
