Nurse Practitioner- Home Care

One of New York City's Premier Home Health organizations is seeking to hire a Nurse Practitioner on per diem basis. With flexible scheduling and competitive salary paid training! The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings. Duties will vary depending on specialization, general responsibilities include the following.

Responsibilities

• Providing primary care to patients
• Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Communicating test results to patients and their families
• Recording patient medical histories
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment

Qualifications

• Valid NYS NP License
• Medicare License (required)
• Performing Annual Examinations (required)
• PECOS Certification 
• Home Healthcare Experience (preferred)
• EMR Experience, VNSNY used E-Clinical Works (ECW) – (preferred)
• 3600 hours as a licensed Nurse Practitioner
