Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases at the front counter
- Renting Instruments
- Cultivating, retaining, and producing instrument knowledge
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct instrument product demos and provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell items
- Maintain merchandising standards by cleaning the store regularly, stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stock rotation
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly regarding instruments and supplies
- Support team members with various tasks including merchandising, stocking, and customer assistance
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar store environments
- Music and instrument playing ability or knowledge!!!
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles or team support responsibilities
- Experience in product demos, upselling, and merchandising is advantageous
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance customer interactions
- Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and excellent customer service abilities are essential for success in this role
$10/hour PLUS commissions. Career path training and testing is in place to quickly advance your salary to $15/hour plus commissions... which can be accomplished within 6 months. Our top earners make around $20 per hour. However, this is a seasonal business, and the commissions and hours will be greater during the months of August and September.
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
