Residential Security Officer

Large Condominium Community looking for a* full time in-house mature, reliable experienced Security Officer with strong customer service skills, *preferably with residential experience. Officer will be interacting with staff members, residents, investors, commercial tenants, visitors and contractors. All functions, duties and tasks are to be carried out in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures.

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Candidates must have:

· Good ethics, neat appearance, friendly demeanor.

· Must have a proven record of punctuality and dependability.

· Excellent customer service skills.

· Exhibit professionalism at all times.

· Proficiency in Microsoft word and outlook.

· Good working knowledge of security cameras, security alarm systems, life safety, patrols and incident reporting.

· Ability to handle typical incidents and crisis situations in an efficient, timely and thorough manner.

· Effectively deescalate, anxious/stressed people and manage aggression.

· Flexibility to work other shifts as necessary.

· Ability to lift 40 pounds for the processing of incoming packages. We process 100,000 packages annually.

· Conduct tours of the 8-acre property to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications include 2 years Security experience, U.S. citizenship, high school diploma or equivalent. Strong oral, written, communication and organizational skills. Ability to demonstrate a history of proven reliability and consistency. Must be mature, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently as well as be part of a team.
