The Bronze Buffalo Ranch is an exclusive, member centric sporting club located in the high mountain valley between the Big Hole and Teton Mountain Ranges in the beautiful Teton Springs Community of Victor, Idaho. The coveted 18-hole championship golf course and the Legends Short Course was designed by the respected Byron Nelson.

Classification: Part-Time/Full-Time, Seasonal (~May - October) 2-5 month, flexible

Department: Golf Operations

Wage Structure: Pending on experience, $15-$18/hour gratuities

Reports to: Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf

Summary/Objective

This position is intended for a leader. This is an active and outdoors position supporting the daily operations of the Golf Department. The Player Service members are the first thing members and guests see when they arrive on property. This position is responsible for helping to create an unmatched total golf experience as directed by DOG and HP. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and member satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• Managing bag drop, carts, and practice area operations.
• Assist members in getting their bags from storage and/or car when or before arrival.
• Provide impeccably clean and maintained golf cars to all players.
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the facility throughout the entire day.
• Helping pull and prep golf carts and staging area around the clubhouse.
• Adhere to all property and department policies and procedures.
• Conduct high quality experience and dialogue with members and guests.
• Clean clubs and assist members with any post round needs.
• Professionally open and close the outside operations including the bag drop, cart barn, golf cart fleet management, practice areas including range and putting green.
• Work closely with professional staff on all club related activities.

Work Environment

This position operates in both an indoor and outdoor setting. The uneven terrain of the golf course and driving range can potentially cause tripping, falling, or injury if not careful. Be careful of motorized vehicles on the property and use caution when on roads or pathways. While on the driving range or course, be mindful of golfers to avoid stray golf balls that can potentially cause injury.

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time seasonal position. It will be expected that the hours and days are worked as necessary to ensure a well delivered golf operation in line with the values and vision of the Bronze Buffalo Ranch. Ability to work weekends, holidays, days, and nights with flexible hours. Schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments.

Preferred Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Authorization

Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes
