Overview
Performs various tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment and products within the Hospital Center.
Responsibilities
-Loads, unloads and moves materials within the Hospital Center, performing any combination of the following duties:
-Reads orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
-Loads and unloads materials onto and/or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
Qualifications
-High school diploma required.
-Experience in materials management in health care/hospital environment preferred.
-Must be familiar with materials management procedures and techniques.
