Schedule: Part-Time | Saturdays & After-School Hours (Tues-Fri).Compensation: $30/hr (private lessons) | $35/hr (group lessons).Inspire the next generation of musicians at Bronx House!We’re seeking passionate and dedicated part-time Violin Instructors to join our vibrant School for Performing Arts. As part of our teaching team, you’ll provide individualized and group instruction, track student progress, and update families on each child’s musical journey-all while working in an encouraging, creative, and supportive environment. You will be reporting to the Performing Arts Director.What You’ll Do:Deliver engaging, high-quality violin instruction for private and small group lessons.Foster a positive and inspiring learning environment for students as young as 4 years old.Track student attendance and progress, keeping families informed and involved.Collaborate with colleagues to maintain excellence in programming and community engagement as well as assist and participate in strategic recruitment and programming events.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education (or equivalent professional training and experience).Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with children and families.Experience teaching in an educational or community-based setting.Possess the interpersonal skills to engage individuals and families from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.Benefits:Paid Time Off.Paid Prenatal Leave.Bereavement Leave.Jury Duty Leave.How to Apply:If you’re ready to inspire and make music matter, we’d love to hear from you!Please send your resume, cover letter, and a sample lesson plan or teaching clip to: joe@bronxhouse.org.
