Opportunity Summary

Bronx Arts Middle School seeks a School Aide to support the daily operations of the school by performing various clerical and student support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in maintaining student behavior and to meet the needs of individual students.
• Performs clerical duties: data entry, copying, filing, and distributing teaching materials such as textbooks, paper, and workbooks, etc.
• Support with procuring materials for special events and/or school activities as needed for the daily function of the school.
• Answers telephones and performs light reception work.
• Makes phone calls to parents, families, or other stakeholders, as needed.
• Completes inventories and stocking supplies.
• Welcomes teachers, students, and families.
• Performs breakfast, lunch, and dismissal duty.
• Organizes and supervises students during independent work or other activities; facilitate student transitions between activities.
• Support leadership team as needed

Qualifications :

• High school diploma required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
