The Role
We’re hiring an Assurance Associate (0–5 years experience) to perform audits, reviews, and compilations for entrepreneurial privately held clients. Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures for privately held entrepreneurial clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Assist in planning and executing assurance engagements, including risk assessments, understanding of internal controls, and substantive procedures.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and related disclosures with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with senior team members and clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide insights on financial reporting matters.
- Conduct analytical reviews and identify opportunities for process improvements or value-added recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting from an accredited university
- 0–5 years public accounting experience
- CPA eligible or in progress
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a genuine drive to deliver excellence
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience and credentials)
