What You'll Do
- Program and run 5-axis and 3-axis CNC mills, including setup and operation
- Fully program from solid models and edit programs as needed
- Set up and machine complex or irregularly shaped parts
- Interpret GD&T on drawings and ensure accuracy through self-inspection
- Use micrometers, bore gauges, and other standard measuring tools
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
- Determine proper speeds and feeds for challenging aerospace materials such as Inconels, Monels, Titanium, etc.
- Collaborate with teammates and assist in CNC programming
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously when needed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Proven experience in a CNC programming and machining environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A desire for continuous improvement and high-quality results
