Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering and providing change
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed
- Support food safety practices by following sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures
- Help with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant area is organized and inviting
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and grocery store transactions are essential
- Experience in customer service roles that involve serving, cashiering, or food handling will help you excel in this position
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen experience are advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
