Job Summary

Bronco Billy’s is seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Cook to join our team. This role offers the chance to work in a lively, fast-paced setting while preparing quality meals our guests enjoy. Prior kitchen experience is a plus, but we are happy to train someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality expectations
• Complete general food preparation tasks
• Safely and effectively operate kitchen equipment
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Support inventory tracking and stock management
• Ensure meals are prepared accurately and in a timely manner, including special dietary needs
• Check and document food temperatures during cooking and storage
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food prep and cooking techniques
• Previous experience in food service is preferred
• Familiarity with kitchen procedures and meal preparation
• Strong knife-handling skills and understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
• Dependable, team-focused, and maintains a positive attitude
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable working in a high-energy kitchen environment
