Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a warm, friendly attitude and assist with seating arrangements
- Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times and seating options
- Maintain a clean, organized host station and ensure the lobby area is welcoming and professional
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and service flow
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with excellent phone etiquette and provide accurate information about services
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns politely and escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, or similar environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent guest service skills, including hospitality, serving, and guest relations expertise
- Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette and uphold high standards of guest interaction
