- Manages fiscal resources of the school responsibly, efficiently, effectively and within established deadlines; prepares and oversees site budget; approves purchases consistent with BOE policy and state law; manages site fixed assets in compliance with BOE policy and established procedure.
- Liaisons with Child Nutrition in establishing lunch schedules, resolving issues, evaluating food service managers, assigning staff to lunch duty, communicating with parents and supporting healthy lifestyle initiatives.
- Liaisons with Transportation in establishment of bus schedules, student discipline, monitoring of bus loading/unloading, presentation of student safety presentations, inclement weather and parent communications.
- Liaisons with Plant Operations in coordinating the work of day and night custodians including advance notification of events/night activities, assisting with work focus of custodians, and complying with regulations and procedures regarding OSHA postings, biohazard waste cleanup and hazardous materials communication.
- Liaisons with Maintenance in the submission of work orders via the online work order system and then monitoring of submissions.
- Liaisons with central office staff in the development of capital improvement planning by analyzing and articulating site needs, forecasting future needs, supporting district decisions and communicating decisions positively to stakeholders.
- Effectively manages and communicates district policies and procedures. Designs and manages site procedures to maximize opportunities for student learning.
