Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and transactions
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling products to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast-food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and order management
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and register balancing
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and processing cash transactions effectively
