Chemical Production Associate

Position Summary

We’re seeking a Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in the blending, filling, labeling, and packaging of liquid and powder chemical products, as well as seasonal Snow and Ice Melt production. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and dependable, with a willingness to learn and assist in all areas of production.

Some light computer work will be required for data entry, inventory updates, and order processing using NetSuite and Microsoft Office.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, and blend liquid and powder materials according to established formulas.
• Work on the Snow & Ice Melt production line, including handling and stacking 50lb bags, palletizing finished product, and assisting with line setup and cleanup.
• Fill, cap, label, and package finished products.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure product accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area.
• Operate basic production equipment and assist with routine maintenance.
• Palletize, wrap, and move finished goods as needed.
• Complete batch records and inventory transactions in NetSuite.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support other production or warehouse operations as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Required:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience operating a sit-down, counterbalance propane forklift.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Previous experience in production, packaging, or blending environments.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with chemical handling and safety protocols.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, on-site role in a production facility environment.
• Exposure to liquid and powdered chemical products (PPE provided).
• Standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays).
• Compensation: $20 – $22 per hour, depending on experience.
