Job Description:
The Substitute Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary environment in the school building during the absence of regular custodial staff. Duties include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and other school areas, as well as performing basic custodial tasks in accordance with district standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and disinfect floors and surfaces.
- Clean and restock restrooms and common areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins.
- Set up or break down rooms for school events if needed.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
Salary : $16 - $17
