What are the responsibilities and job description for the Propane Service Technician position at Broco Oil?
The Propane Service Technician is primarily responsible for the following functions:• Installs propane equipment for new customers.• Performs service calls and preventative maintenance on existing systems.• Performs propane deliveries as necessary.• Responds to emergency calls as needed.• Completes system inspections, repairs, and tests.• Provides mentorship and guidance to Apprentices and Helpers.• Performs other similar duties as required.Required:• High school degree or equivalent• Current EPA license• Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire Gas Fitters License and/or New Hampshire Gas Fitters License• Ability to work extended hours as necessary, especially during peak demand seasonsPreferred:• CDL A or B with HazMat/Tanker endorsements• CETP training• Crane experience• Prior experience working for a fuel company• Bilingual in English and SpanishReceived:Works under the general direction of the Service Manager.Exercised: None.Field:• Regularly works outside in varying weather conditions• Often subject to extreme variations of temperature or odors June 14, 2023• Often exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals• Regularly exposed to moderate to loud noise levelsOffice:• Moderately noisy office, subject to frequent interruptions• Not subject to extreme variations of temperature or odors• Broco Energy is a family-friendly workplace.
