What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver - SY 2026 - 2027 position at Brockton Public Schools?
The Brockton Public Schools seeks full-time experienced Bus Drivers to safely transport students, staff, and others to and from school, field or activity trips, athletic events, and charter trips. Knowledge of all traffic laws, regulations, road signs and related information; knowledge of computer software applications to produce written reports; ability to work with children of different ages and development, and knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the bus.
Minimum requirements: High School diploma, GED or any equivalent combination of education and experience; Motor Vehicle Operator’s (DMV) license, current valid Commercial Driver’s License(CDL), class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsement/D.O.T/school bus certificate with at least 1 year experience; successful prior experience working as bus driver in a school district preferred.
