TO: Teaching, Support, or Administrative Staff who are full time at the following schools: FROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: Middle School Before and/or After School Support StaffPlease note: Each school will fill a total of 2-hours a day in whatever combination best fits the needs of the school. (e.g.
4 people at hour each; 2 people at one hour each, etc.). Configuration is at the discretion of the principal for a total of 2-hours a day.Qualifications: Strong communication skills with students and parentsAbility to manage a large number of students.Able to manage multiple demands.Available either prior to school, after school, or bothDuties and Responsibilities: Support dismissal processEnsure students safely arrive to and/or exit school/school grounds.Ensure students waiting for rides or other transportation remain in designated areas (as applicable)Assist students waiting for rides access the telephone if needed.Manage main office duties, as needed.Other responsibilities to support the safe arrival and departure of all students as assigned by the principal or designee.Compensation: According to the ContractFunding Source: Local FundingThe Brockton Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and, as such, is committed to fostering an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives and backgrounds are celebrated.
