As a result of the increased demand for our SmartSuite product offering, we’re seeking a Software Project Manager that will oversee the integration and upgrades of our product to new and existing customers within the airline industry.
Responsibilities:
- Communication: Managing the clients’ expectations and communicating needs to the project team
- Managing scope internally (within project team) and externally (with client)
- Financial responsibility on projects between $100k and $2M
- Managing resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources
- Creation and management of project schedules
- Ensure harmonious working relationships with key partners
- Identify risks/roadblocks and work with the teams to mitigate them for successful completion of the project
- Ensure quality of the end solution through implementation of our standard project and development process
Qualifications Required:
- University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field of study (Computer science, Engineering or related fields)
- 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role in Software/IT projects
- Experience/exposure to the following technologies: C#, .NET, SQL Server, Network Design, Virtualized Environments and Microsoft Azure/Cloud Computing
- Experience implementing real time software solutions in a critical operational capacity
- Must be customer focused and action oriented
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- This position does require travel up to 30%
- Experience in transportation and logistics industry
