Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Flooring Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients bring their vision to life while managing projects from initial consultation through completion.
You will work directly with homeowners, builders, designers, and contractors to guide them through product selections, provide accurate quotes, and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom and via phone/email
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, style preferences, and budgets
- Present and sell flooring products including carpet, LVP, hardwood, tile, and related materials
- Assist with selections for kitchens and bathrooms, including cabinets and countertops when applicable
- Conduct site measurements.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, sales orders and work orders.
- Order materials and coordinate with installers and vendors
- Manage projects from sale through installation, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and realtors
- Follow up with clients before, during, and after installation
- Maintain showroom appearance and product knowledge
- Help grow and expand company outreach.
- Manage Existing accounts.
Qualifications
- Sales experience in remodeling.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
- Basic computer skills (email, estimating software, CRM, etc.)
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
