Role Description
This is a part-time with full-time opportunity Tutor position based on-site in Woodinville, WA. The Tutor will provide personalized, one-on-one instruction to K-12 students in a variety of subjects, tailored to individual learning needs. Responsibilities include assisting students with specific coursework or test preparation, and fostering a positive and supportive educational experience. The role involves close collaboration with students, parents, and team members to achieve academic goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in one or more subject areas, with a strong ability to teach effectively.
- Lesson planning, instructional delivery, and curriculum development skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles and needs.
- Organizational and time management skills for maintaining schedules and tracking progress.
- Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus.
- Experience with or knowledge of IEPs preffered.
- Expereince with behavior plans or learning disabilities is a plus.
