Qualifications

- One must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- A minimum of a year running construction equipment

Responsibilities
- Work under minimal supervision at times, safely and efficiently
- Types of equipment that may be operated are dozer, excavator, mini excavator, skid steer, wheel loader, track loader, compaction equipment and haul truck on large and small projects
- From time to time, the job may require shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50 lbs
- Must keep equipment and work truck clean inside and out
- Daily equipment inspections
- Daily lubrication and maintenance
- Must safely operate company-owned equipment to prevent damage
- Maneuvering heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials
- Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of personnel and management
- Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each day
Job/duties Summary
The Equipment Operator’s duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure appropriate movement of materials and working with coworkers to ensure the projects are completed accurately. Types of construction equipment that may be operated are dozer, excavator, track skid steer, wheel loader, track loader, compaction equipment and haul trucks on large and small projects. From time to time, the job may require shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50 lbs.
