A Level I Service Technician works under the direction of experienced technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of cabinetry. This entry-level role focuses on developing technical skills while ensuring cabinets are properly installed, fully functional, and visually aligned with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with cabinet installation, service, and repair tasks
- Help ensure completed cabinetry is both structurally sound and aesthetically finished
- Support the transportation, loading, and unloading of cabinet materials and tools at job sites
- Learn to identify and address basic cabinet issues, including loose hinges, minor surface damage, and hardware adjustments
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools used in cabinet installation and repair
- Take accurate measurements and perform precise cuts to ensure proper cabinet fit and alignment
- Maintain organized and clean work areas during and after project completion
- Follow company safety procedures and job site guidelines at all times
- Must be at least 21 Years old and have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record.
- Knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Work efficiently as a team or independently.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations.
- Effective communication skills including but not limited to reading, writing, and active listening.
