Brock Cabinets is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Finisher to join our production team. This role is responsible for preparing, finishing, and applying coatings to cabinetry to ensure a high-quality, durable, and visually appealing final product. The ideal candidate has experience with cabinet finishing techniques, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.
The Paint Finisher plays a key role in the final stage of cabinet production, ensuring all products meet Brock Cabinets’ quality standards before delivery or installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and inspecting materials
- Apply paint, stain, lacquer, or other finishes to cabinetry using spray equipment or other finishing tools
- Ensure smooth, even coatings and consistent color across cabinet components
- Inspect finished products for quality, defects, or imperfections and perform touch-ups as needed
- Maintain finishing equipment, spray booths, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Follow production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Mix and match paint or stain colors as required for custom cabinet finishes
- Follow all safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for finishing materials
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure finished cabinets meet specifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in cabinet finishing, wood finishing, or paint spraying preferred
- Familiarity with spray guns, finishing equipment, and finishing materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to lift and move cabinet components as needed
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
