What you’ll be doing:

Delivery Staff support warehouse and delivery operations with the company. Delivery Staff transport goods to customers at job sites, ensure timely and safe delivery, provide excellent customer service, load and unload materials at the warehouse, and work in a fast-paced environment which involve continual lifting and moving items that weigh up to 75 lbs.   

A day in the life as Delivery Staff might include:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, ensure all items are stored properly and safely, complete paperwork related to deliveries, and maintain delivery records
• Transport Goods: Safely deliver packages, cabinets, hardware, or other items to designated locations, adhering to scheduled timelines
• Route Management: Utilize navigation tools to determine the most efficient delivery routes and manage travel time effectively
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding delivery status, address any concerns, and ensure satisfaction
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-delivery inspections of vehicles, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety standards are met.
• Safety: Adhere to all laws and regulations, inspect and perform basic maintenance on fleet vehicles, load and unload cargo, and upkeep delivery records

Qualifications

What’s the work environment like for Delivery Staff:

• Full-time (40 hrs. minimum per week)
• Monday – Friday (work schedule includes 5am start time)
• Be available to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Travel at least 4 hours daily, where needed, to various job sites in North Carolina
• Physical workspace: non-climate-controlled warehouse, seasonal/weather dependant temperature, loud noise, and construction/job site areas
• Work conditions: able to stoop, lift, bend, and climb, walk long distances, and lift 75 lbs.
• This role has no supervisory duties

What you’ll bring to the team:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license (including a clean driving record)
• (5) years driving experience required
• Able to pass DOT certification physical
• High School Diploma
• Effective communication skills including reading, writing, and listening
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• DOT certification preferred
• (1) year warehouse experience preferred
