Key Responsibilities
* Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns; research and manage complex tax issues; and ensure compliance with current regulations.
* Perform bookkeeping functions, including posting transactions, bank reconciliations, AP/AR management, and month-end close.
* Prepare financial reports, ledgers, and client-ready summaries.
* Communicate with clients to collect necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
* Ensure strict confidentiality and security of client and firm information at all times.

Qualifications
* Experience in bookkeeping and income tax preparation (3 years preferred)
* Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
* Strong communication skills and a client-focused attitude
