Breakfast Attendant

Broadwell Hospitality Group in Oswego, NY is seeking a dependable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This position is essential in creating a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests by ensuring the breakfast area is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked throughout service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area each morning, ensuring all food and beverage items are fresh, attractively presented, and replenished as needed.
• Continuously monitor and restock supplies such as utensils, pastries, cereals, coffee, tea, and condiments to maintain optimal levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining and kitchen areas, including tables, counters, equipment, and floors.
• Provide courteous, prompt, and attentive service to guests, responding courteously to inquiries and special requests.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation standards to promote a safe and hygienic dining environment.
• Record food par levels for inventory and ordering purposes and assist in closing down the breakfast service area at the end of each shift.
• Wear the proper uniform and name tag consistently, follow all company policies and procedures, and participate in departmental meetings as required.
• Stay informed about emergency procedures and respond appropriately, ensuring the safety of guests and team members at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support smooth and efficient breakfast operations.
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; a combination of on-the-job training and experience may substitute for formal education.
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
