THE ROLE

• Food Preparation: Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients. Preparing sandwiches and salads.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene: Cleaning dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Ensure efficient kitchen operations: Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations, assisting with the monitoring of inventory, putting deliveries away and communicating effectively in a fast-paced enviornment.

 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Available to work flexible hours that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Meet store operating standards and policies
• Available to perform different tasks within the store during each shift
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions and requests when needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to carry out necessary job functions in walk-in cooler 
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong decision making and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as a team
