Cybersecurity SME (Secret Clearance Required)

Job Title: Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Vicksburg, MS (On-site 5 days/week)

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Windows, Linux and/or VMware systems within a DoD enterprise environment.
• Support virtualization and storage systems (iSCSI, NFS) and enterprise network configurations.
• Provide network administration support with Cisco and/or Palo Alto routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot system, storage, and network connectivity issues.
• Perform daily system and application administration as well as project-based tasks.
• Apply defense-in-depth security principles: IDS/IPS, antivirus, traffic separation, automated malware analysis, compliance with DISA SRG/STIG.
• Monitor system availability and performance (servers, storage, network).
• Ensure IT policies/procedures are documented and maintained.
• Support accreditation/certification efforts under DoD standards and contribute to continuity/recovery planning (component failures, personnel/communication outages, site contingencies).
• Maintain secure and reliable backup processes, document plans, proper storage and labeling.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. citizen; able to obtain/maintain SECRET security clearance. Active clearance is a plus.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security or higher).
• Ability to obtain CEH or CySA or CSA certification within first 6 months.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in UNIX/Linux systems administration, storage systems, and/or network systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
