We are seeking skilled professionals with experience in one or more of the areas listed below to join our enterprise Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) team. Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Windows, Linux, and/or VMware systems within an enterprise DoD environment.
- Support virtualization, storage systems (iSCSI, NFS), and enterprise network configurations.
- Provide basic network administration support, particularly with Cisco and/or Palo Alto routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot issues related to systems, storage, and network connectivity.
- Perform daily system and application administration as well as project-based tasks.
- Interact professionally and promptly with end users to resolve issues.
- Apply defense-in-depth principles to secure systems and networks, including:
- IDS/IPS, antivirus, logical traffic separation, automated malware analysis, and compliance with DISA SRG/STIG.
- Monitor system availability and performance for servers, storage, and networks.
- Ensure IT policies and procedures are documented and maintained.
- Support accreditation and certification efforts under DoD standards.
- Contribute to continuity and recovery planning for cybersecurity and IT operations, including support for:
- Component and capability failures
- Communication and personnel outages
- Site-level contingencies
- Maintain secure and reliable backup processes, including documented plans and proper storage and labeling.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security or higher).
- Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Active Security Clearance is a plus
- Ability to obtain CEH or CSA certification within first 6 months.
- At least 4 years of experience in UNIX/Linux systems administration, storage systems, and/or network systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
