Overview
The Instructional Designer will play a key role in shaping impactful learning solutions that drive performance and business results. This role is responsible for designing and
developing a wide range of learning materials and experiences while partnering closely with the CS and Client Loyalty L&D Director and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will translate strategic goals into engaging, learner-centered interventions that foster behavior change and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to design and deliver organization-wide learning initiatives that align with business needs and priorities.
- Apply adult learning theories (e.g., Knowles’ Adult Learning Theory, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to develop effective instructional strategies and methods.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend performance-based solutions with measurable objectives.
- Design and develop engaging learning assets across modalities, including instructor-led (ILT/vILT), eLearning, job aids, and video.
- Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent) to ensure quality, efficiency, and reinforcement of learning.
- Track, analyze, and report on learning effectiveness metrics to evaluate program impact and recommend enhancements.
- Use strong visual design skills to create professional, brand-aligned learning content.
- Facilitate development programs as needed, leveraging adult learning principles and blended learning techniques.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate training, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or a related field.
Experience with financial products/services in a call center environment strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Proven ability to design instructional content across multiple modalities, including ILT/vILT, eLearning, and blended learning.
Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Camtasia.
Strong graphic design skills; experience with Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
Skilled in developing scenario-based and simulation learning experiences.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Strong project management, analytical, and documentation abilities.
Results-driven with high attention to detail, process orientation, and a proactive mindset.
Ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
