What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Broadway Ristorante & Pizzeria?
Come join our Broadway Ristorante & Pizzeria team! We have been serving Central Florida for 30 years! We are looking for creative, diligent and detail-oriented Line/Prep cooks to join our staff in Altamonte Springs.
Responsibilities:
*Must have restaurant experience
*Must be able to work closing shifts (Until Midnight - Overall Open availability a plus)
- Learn and execute recipes based on company standards
- Follow company safety & sanitation procedures
- Set up work stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepping food (e.g. preparing sauces, chopping vegetables, etc.)
- Collaborate and cooperate with entire kitchen staff
- Accurately and efficiently provide timely orders to waitstaff
- Stock inventory
- Clean work stations
- Execute closing procedures
Physical requirements for position:
- Stand for prolonged periods of time
- Safely handle sharp instruments/kitchen tools/utensils
- Lift and carry items (up to 50lbs)
- Handle cleaning chemicals and products
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
