Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and patient-focused Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy in North Bend, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role within a locally owned, community-centered pharmacy where you can truly make an impact—both clinically and operationally.
As Pharmacy Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead and mentor a dedicated team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. From overseeing prescription accuracy and inventory management to providing immunizations and clinical services, your role will be central to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Pharmacy Operations with Excellence
- Oversee all day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory adherence
- Drive workflow optimization and implement best practices to enhance pharmacy performance
Patient & Provider Relations:
- Provide patient-centered counseling and clinical services, including immunizations
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, drug interactions, and therapeutic appropriateness
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and support pharmacists, technicians, and support staff in a collaborative environment
- Foster a positive, respectful culture that encourages growth, accountability, and teamwork
- Support ongoing training and professional development for team members
Inventory & Compliance:
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and proper storage of medications and supplies
- Maintain accurate controlled substance records in compliance with DEA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy, or ability to obtain licensure within 60 days of accepting the offer.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy leadership or managerial role preferred but not required.
- Experience in retail and/or compounding pharmacy is preferred, but not required.
- APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
Work Schedule:
- Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Closed on major holidays.
