Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of food preparation and cleanliness required in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in catering, restaurant operations, or culinary arts.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Support banquet services by assisting with setup, serving, and bussing tables as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are vital for success in this role.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
