About The Job
BroadStreet Partners is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to join our growing and successful firm. This position identifies and qualifies potential investment opportunities through research and direct outreach and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on deal experience, have meaningful responsibility, and contribute directly to the company’s growth.
Primary Responsibilities
• Work with business executives to further develop their acquisition strategies and build marketing campaigns and materials to boost BroadStreet’s awareness and attract new partners.
• Research, network, identify and directly contact potential prospects.
• Communicate with prospects utilizing various tools including email, phone, referrals, social media, LinkedIn, and direct mail.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and partner with them during the implementation process.
• Track and report on personal sales performance, pipeline progress, and other key metrics.
• Participate in project work related to marketing, prospecting and M&A best practices.
• Work on various projects as needed to support the growth of our Core partners and BroadStreet
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills: communication, relationship building, and problem solving.
• Must be a self-starter, driven, demonstrate initiative, and work well with limited supervision.
• Quick learner and able to grasp complicated financial and business concepts.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Interest in private equity, Mergers & Acquisitions, business and finance.
• Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus, but not required.
