Job Description:
Mental Health Therapist for a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for individuals ages 5-21. Must have a RN License.
1. Perform frequent patient evaluations and assessments of patients, and assist in the development of individual plans of care for resident clients.
2. Will perform medication management duties relating to client care, to include but not limited to, medication administration, documentation, and providing supervision to identified staff members responsible for the administration of prescribed medication.
3. Will be able to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions and progress of clients, and will be able to adequately document and communicate these results/information to the attending physician in a timely manner.
4. Ensure nursing records are correctly maintained and given correctly at each shift.
5. Will assist in maintaining appropriate nursing staff coverage for all shifts as mandated and required.
6. Will provide accurate and timely documentation of service in accordance with accreditation and Medicaid guidelines.
