This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Broadridge's software products through testing and quality assurance best practices. Working closely with software engineers and cross-functional teams, this role helps deliver high-quality software by identifying defects, validating functionality, and supporting the software development lifecycle.

Working closely with software engineers and cross-functional teams, this role helps deliver high-quality software by identifying defects, validating functionality, and supporting the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Perform functional, regression and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and testing documentation.
- Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality assurance recommendations.
- Support compliance with established quality assurance standards and processes.
- 3-5 years experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with manual software testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems, preferably Jira.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience testing enterprise software applications.
- Trading experience or willingness to learn
