The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-energy, relentless Sales Hunter to drive new business growth across the U.S. specialty insurance market. This is a pure hunter role — you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, targeting senior decision-makers at insurers, MGAs, and brokers operating in specialty and E&S lines.
If you have a deep rolodex of relationships in the specialty insurance ecosystem, a proven track record of closing complex software deals, and thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Hunt and close new logo business across target verticals including specialty lines, E&S, surety, trade credit, and political risk
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and your personal network. This role expects the candidate to be on the ground driving in person prospecting.
- Engage C-suite and VP-level executives (CUO, CTO, COO, Head of Digital) at insurers, MGAs, and brokers to articulate Tinubu's value proposition
- Lead compelling product demos, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations through to signed contracts
- Partner with Pre-Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure seamless handoff and client satisfaction post-close
- Represent Tinubu at key industry events (RIMS, CIAB, Advisen, Target Markets, etc.) and build brand presence in the market
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in CRM (Salesforce)
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product and GTM strategy

- Experience navigating procurement, legal, and IT evaluations at enterprise insurance organizations
Network & Relationships
- An established rolodex of senior decision-makers across the U.S. MGA market — CEOs, COOs, Heads of Technology, and Chief Underwriting Officers at program administrators, E&S carriers, and specialty brokers — relationships you can activate from day one
- Strong connections within trade credit, surety, political risk, marine, or professional lines MGA communities is a strong plus
- Active presence in MGA-focused industry associations and events (Target Markets, TMPAA, etc.)

- Strong commercial acumen; ability to build and defend business cases with ROI frameworks
- Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM for pipeline management and reporting
