Job Summary:
Assist the Event Specialist with the success of an Access Live event by screening participants on live events and transcribing their questions from Spanish to English (or from English to Spanish) and capturing information as requested by the client. Be able to assist with screening English events as necessary.
Ideal Candidate:
Due to the fluid nature of Access Live events, the ideal candidate is flexible with afternoon and evening availability. This candidate is also comfortable with limited hours but open to expanding based on event volume and business needs.
Ideal candidate will have;
- Ability to translate effectively from Spanish to English and vice versa, both verbally and written
- At least one year of previous customer service experience
- Punctual and detail oriented
- Excellent customer service, telephone, and computer skills
- Strong typing skills with accurate grammar and spelling
- The ability to thrive in a team-work oriented environment
Other job Details:
- Salary Range: $20-$25/hour plus additional bonus compensation of $25/per event for events that require translation.
- Status: Part time non-exempt
- Reports to: Operations Manager
- Benefits include Part-time employees accrue sick leave and are eligible for the 401k program if they reach 1,000 hours in a plan year
- Location: remote work: must have a stable WiFi connection, computer and phone with good service
