Our client is seeking an Associate Logistics Technician to join the team at the Niagara Falls location. Our client is a multinational company that designs, manufactures, and sells precision motion and fluid controls systems for a variety of industries, including aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical. Their products are used in various applications, such as aircraft flight control systems, missile and weapon systems, industrial machinery, and medical devices. As an Associate Logistics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock balances, issuing, and receiving parts, conducting cycle counts, and reconciling errors in various stockrooms.
Please note this is a contract position with an expected duration of seven months.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock balances in various stockrooms.
- Issue and receive parts while ensuring accurate tracking and traceability.
- Conduct cycle counts and error reconciliations in all stockrooms.
- Perform various transactions using different transaction screens, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Interface with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch Personnel, Model Shop Expediters, Receiving Inspection Personnel, and Assembly and Test Personnel.
- Train new employees as needed and work in different stockrooms as required.
- Physically handle and lift parts and boxes of various weights while adhering to proper packaging and handling techniques to prevent damage and injury.
- Maintain proper Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) handling and training.
- Identify and question deviations from standard practices and sign off on Certification Sheets on spare parts.
- Perform Stockroom housekeeping activities such as cleaning material handling pans, keeping the stockroom neat and orderly, consolidating inventory, and maintaining supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a logistics or supply chain role preferred.
- Knowledge of various transaction screens used in logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) handling and training is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
